Abstract Submission Guidelines

Abstract submissions to OLDM’23 are welcome: 15 Jan -- 15 March, 2023

Important note: given the limited slots available in the program, the organization cannot guarantee that all accepted submissions expecting to be oral communications eventually are. This will depend on the amount of submissions we receive and the evaluation of the abstracts by the scientific committee. Therefore, all  submitters should be prepared to present their abstract as a poster.

Those who would like to be considered for oral presentation must indicate their preference in the name they give to the submission file. See instructions in the template.

Only PDF files will be accepted.

Authors of abstracts selected for oral communications will be required to give a presentation of 25 minutes (+5min questions).

Authors of abstracts selected for poster presentation will be required to give a 3min presentation of their work, set up their poster in a dedicated area and address questions there.

The maximum size of poster boards will be 120 cm (length) × 90 cm (width).

Once the submission is complete (by sending the pdf to: oldm2023.chairing@gmail.com) you will receive a confirmation email.

The evaluation of the submitted abstracts was carried out during the month of April. As a result, slots for oral communications are no longer available (see the updated complete program). Nevertheless, the organization will keep open the deadline for poster submissions until July 15.

Abstract Submission Policy

With the submission of an abstract, the author accepts the following clauses:

- Accepts responsibility for the accuracy of the information in the submitted abstract.

- Accepts to be the contact person for all correspondence about the abstract and inform
co-authors about its status.

- Confirms that all co-authors are aware of and agree with the content of the abstract and support the data presented.

- Authorize to the organization of OLDM’23 to publish its abstract in the book of
abstracts that will be published on the conference website.
